About Lagoinha

In 2017, when I created Lagoinha Consultoria, I aimed to delight its clients with personalized service wherever they were, working in the areas of Infrastructure, Services and Events, developing project activities, budget, savings proposals, supply and contracts.

To the pleasure of the Journey, professional challenges were added, transforming work into “paid pleasure”. So 2018 and 2019 passed like lightning, accumulating fantastic experiences in scenarios as diverse as Brazil, Argentina, Senegal, Peru and Switzerland, to mention only the most important. New cultures, people and places having in common the passion for what is done and the eternal desire to learn. Our Team gains experience, maturity and recognition, not without sweat and mishaps, but always with a strong determination to do it well, on time and at a fair price.

Behold, at the beginning of 2020, I begin to hear about a new disease that from China expands to the world in the form of what we now call a pandemic. Distancing, masks, quarantine and home office, words we barely knew are now part of our daily lives. Projects stop, events are suspended, Games postponed or simply canceled... the world seems to stop to watch a long and painful epidemic. But you always have to reinvent yourself! And once again we stop to imagine how we can overcome this new stage. The brilliant idea of temporary hospitals, today stigmatized by the greed of some, allows us to resume work, longer-term projects, new business partnerships. Common point about all these actions: All out of state or country. São Paulo, Teresina, Qatar, Chile, Paris, Porto do Açu, Texas, Miami now fit on the computer screen. Virtual meetings follow one another and become a viable and objective alternative to the imposed contingencies. Requests for Proposal appear timidly, but consistently and allow us to glimpse the timid success of our reinvention and the beginning of a new professional era, where competences and commitment can be evaluated from a distance.

Today, directly or indirectly, Lagoinha serves different types of projects in the most diverse places: We are working remotely in Brazil, Qatar, Chile and more recently France. We serve clients such as the Organizing Committee of international and local events, Investors in infrastructure projects, Construction Companies and Maintenance Companies. We support Project, Budget, Procurement, Contract Management and Actions to reduce investment or event costs. We are absolutely aware that the “remote” model is here to stay, but today we are sure that we can provide excellence in any model.
